About Us
Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis met in Chicago while studying and performing improv and sketch comedy at the world-renowned Second City, iO, and Annoyance Theaters. It was kismet at first laugh. Nicknaming each other Jon (Alex) and Eddie (Rachel) after their entertaining fathers, Alex and Rachel’s friendship and comedic partnership grew through their complementary humorous stylings and love of food. After leaving Chicago, Alex and Rachel made their way to Los Angeles, where they performed improv and sketch comedy as The Jon and Eddie Show, and started writing for television.
Since then, A&R have written for shows on Disney, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Amazon, and PBS - most recently serving as writer/producers on RAVEN’S HOME for the Disney Channel. They have also sold a variety of projects, most notably a workplace comedy for Lionsgate, as well as a DC/Warner Brothers pilot with Bill Lawrence and Elizabeth Banks for HBO Max. Currently, Alex and Rachel are developing a series with Sony Pictures Animation, as well as a musical sitcom for Disney.
Alex and Rachel have been nominated for four Emmys. They are also proud 2020 graduates of the prestigious WGA Showrunner Training Program and schedule all their writing meetings around food.
